What to Expect

Reception Stage Requirements

A raised stage is not required. We’re happy to perform at floor level, provided the performance area is flat, stable, and appropriately sized. When available, a raised stage can enhance sightlines, presentation, and overall guest experience.

Ceremony
Sound

Our self-contained ceremony sound setup supports officiant remarks, vows, readings, and ceremony music when included. We do not provide lavalier microphones; we use our elegant ceremony microphone setup for a cleaner, more reliable experience without the discomfort of body packs or wires hidden through attire.  Four chairs are requested near the ceremony area for the musicians.

Cocktail Hour

Roaming, minstrel-style acoustic music that moves naturally with your guests, settling into ideal locations for two to three songs at a time before moving on. No power or stage required.

Outdoor Notes

Ceremony and cocktail hour performances can take place outdoors without covering when conditions are safe and suitable. If weather becomes unsafe or inclement, we may need to move indoors or under a covered area.  Reception performances require a covered and weather-protected area.  This protects instruments, sound equipment, and lighting, and helps keep the event running safely and smoothly.

Venue Provided Sound

We can work with house-provided sound; however, we prefer to review venue tech specs, speak with a house engineer and tech advance the event before contracting to ensure it meets the necessary requirements.
