For ceremony and cocktail hour, covering is not always required in ideal conditions, but safe and suitable conditions are required. If there is rain, snow, active moisture, extreme sun exposure, unsafe wind, or other conditions that could damage instruments or equipment, we may need covering or an indoor backup location. Reception performances have stricter covering requirements because of the full sound system, lighting, instruments, and longer setup time, but ceremony setups still need to be protected when weather is an issue. We will coordinate with your planner or venue if weather looks questionable so everyone understands the backup plan before guests arrive.
