Force majeure refers to major circumstances beyond either party’s control that prevent the event or performance from happening as planned. Our contract language includes serious illness, accidents, transportation accidents, unpreventable circumstances, acts of public authority, material breach of contract, or other conditions beyond either party’s control. In those situations, neither party is automatically required to fulfill the remainder of the contract or provide a make-up date unless both parties expressly agree to a convenient future date.
