Yes. A do-not-play list is part of our planning approach. We ask each client to start by redlining songs from our master list first and foremost. That gives us a clear sense of which songs, artists, or styles you definitely want to avoid. You can also include songs or artists outside the master list that you do not want played. We recommend keeping the do-not-play list focused on true “please avoid this” items rather than trying to over-control the entire set. Clear boundaries are helpful, and they still allow the band to read the room and keep the dance floor moving.
